My dog is broken

My dog Moose became sick a week ago. He would wake up in the morning and vomit. He did this 4 days in a row. On the fourth day I took him to the vet. I told the vet that Moose was going a little stir crazy because of the weather, he is not outside much because his paws get cold so fast and he cant walk, I end up having to pick him up and carry him inside. Because of this he had destroyed most of his toys and I believe he had ingested some of the pieces because I've seen him drop some toy stuffing out his backside when he does his business. So we thought it was the toy parts causing problems for him. The vet also ran a bunch of tests and took some x-rays. Vets also cost as much as people doctors. Ouch. We saw some stuff in his intestines and all his tests came out good so the vet put him on a bland diet. The food is some special blend by Purina or something like that. He was on the diest for a full week, then on Monday I fed him his normal food. Not a good idea, he woke up again Tuesday morning and vomited again. I called the vet once again and told them it was starting over again. The vet called me back and suggested I continue the bland diet for Moose. I went back to the vet and bought the special dog food for him this time I bought him only three cans of soft and a bag of dry. I don't like him eatting wet(can) food because it creates tarter on his teeth and dry food is so much easier to store and transport. The food he was previously eatting he had been eating it for more than six months. I hope it is just the food causing the problem and not someting serious.

The Can Opener

I finally bought a new can opener and I love it. The previous one was junk. It was a fight just to open a can and then it would not completely open the can lid. I would need a pair of pliers to rip it the rest of the way open, but the new one cuts like a knife through warm butter. Ahh the simple things is life a wonderful.

Karaoke every Friday and Saturday night.

Every friday and saturday night I hear the karaoke singers. I give them credit for singing but oh man a lot of them are horrible.
When the guy running the ka rokie speaks I always think Im at a strip club by the way he speaks.
"Let's hear it for Mer i ahhhhhh next up is Ashh ley."
Maybe it's just me.

Graduation

Moose took his final exam today and passed. He received his diploma, and had his picture taken with his graduation cap on. He plans to continue his training after taking some time to relax and hang out at the dog park. Moose is considering a law enforcement career.

Scarry Berry

I took my dog to be groomed at Petsmart. He is a short hair Daschund so not much grooming to do but they wash him, trim his nails. I take him in at the scheduled time and they tell me about the Top Dog package well as far as I'm concerned he is the Top Dog, so I kinda have to get that package. One of the extras with the package is Scarry Berry remoisturizer and cologne.
I pick him up from the groomer an hour later and leave. We get to the car and I smell something, a nice fragrance. I think, is it my dog? It has to be? He just got washed. I pick him up, holding him correctly because he is a wiener dog. I raise him to face level and I inhale. The scent is coming from him. I put my nose right against his fur and inhale. Scarry Berry smells very nice. Not a girly scent so it's okay for him to smell like that. My puppy has never smelled so good, or should I say Scarry.

Slave Owner Day

It's my understanding that Columbus was a slave owner, murderer, and rapist.
He never found America, he landed on Haiti. He wasn't even the first European to land in North America, so to celebrate there is no mail delivery and the banks are closed. It seems to me that the I talians were the ones to first celebrate Columbus then it turned into a national Holiday.
My favorite Holidays are St Patty's (beer), Thanksgiving (lot's of food and the night before is the biggest bar night of the year) I like Cinco de Drinko or Drinko de Mayo which ever you want to call it. No I'm not an alky. I just like de brew,

Playoffs

Never bet against the Yankees....I'm predicting a Philly's vs. Yankees World Series or Cubs/Yanks or Philly's/Sox or Cubs/Sox or Angles/Cubs or Angles/Phillys. I'm personally pulling for the Cubs because they have C-Mo who was traded from the Tigers to the Cubs because he spoke out against Leland when the Tigers were playing like crap and guess what the Tigers missed the playoffs because of many factors like the middle relief was atrocious, Todd Jones is horrible, Brandon Inge is a career .158 hitter which is no help and Pudge is not as productive as he used to be since he stopped using steroids, "I mean cut his weight down because of his age" although I think he is good for the pitching staff. Bonderman under achieved. Rogers and Sheffield being hurt a lot didn't help. Not doing anything at the trade dead line was dumb and Leland was out coached quite a bit this season.
I say the Tigers break the bank and sign A-Rod because he is probably going to leave the Yankees. He's to sensitive and he's not the man in NY Jeter is and he had to move to 3rd base, basically he's a baby, but he can play. He's future hall of fame for sure. I'm ready for the Pistons and Hockey. Lions are a fluke they can score 30 but they can give up 60 easy.

I remembered a question someone had asked the night of the Superbowl. If you could smoke a joint with ANY five people who would it be? *Why not 4 or 6? I don't remember who I picked, everyone said who they would pick and we laughed at some of the picks.
Well I was watching the baseball playoffs on TBS and they were showing a promo for a new show coming out staring Frank Caliendo. He's a funny guy and I think he would be hilarious if he were high, then I remembered the question. I don't know why they had him make NFL picks on Fox? He's funny but that doesn't mean he knows anything about making picks on Sunday?
Wait, back to the topic. NO, I'm not stoned.

I started thinking about the question of who would I pick, so here is my list:

It was not an easy decision to leave off Chris Tucker who has become a little big headed (is that an oxymoron?) No more Rush Hour movies. I remember seeing him on Def Comedy Jam on HBO 20 years ago. (Angie you thought I was going to say Brad Pitt, huh) Bill Clinton would be cool too just for the fact you could say you blazed down with a former President. He'd probably have some cool stories to but he'd get to deep and that's a buzz kill or so I hear.

Shampoo and I'm not talking about the movie

OK seems to me that all the shampoo's out there now have to have some kind of combination of this and that. Then they have silly little slogans on them. You know what I don't care if there is a cute slogan on the bottle or what mixtures are in it, I just need something that deep cleans. My hair gets oily and I need something that will clean it well when I wash it. OK that inexpensive stuff that says for "Men" dose not work well for me. I don't care if my hair smells like strawberry's or vanilla, I just want it to be clean.

September 11

Walmart

I took my dog into Walmart the other day. It was warm out but inside a car it gets very hot. I put him in a shopping cart and he behaved pretty well. He only barked once when I was in the check out line because there were so many people around he was dying to have someone pay attention to him and pet him. I should have taken a picture of him in the cart while we were in the store, as proof of his excursion.
The whole time I was in there I kept expecting a manager to come up to me and tell me I could not have the dog inside the store, but no, nothing to report.
I did get many looks from employee's and other shoppers.
Oh I bought paper towels, a can of spagheti O's (yuck, now I know why I never eat that crap), Cheetos (good)and I couldn't find the right size floor mats for my car.

I've been saying that Lloyd needs to be replaced as the coach for a few years now.

OSU would never stand for their team to be performing like this. Getting destroyed in bowl games and always losing to UofM.

But it appears that this is considered acceptable for Michigan's program.

Lloyd says he doesn't care if we lose a hundred games.

They won't fire him they'll wait for him to retire. I sure hope it's at the end of this season.

I bought a MSU jersey the other day. I had to do it to protest my displeasure of Michigan's uncalled for play.

How does the wining est D1 school in college football come to this. We should be pulling in talent from all over the country just on our name alone.

I know it's hard to replace your stars on D fence but we should have been able to recruit good enough players to step in and not be so horrible, and the Offense?

Henne played pretty bad. I blame the coach for all of this. He has not prepared this team to be competitive.

I'm getting a shirt made that says "Fire Lloyd" they should have replaced him years ago. This stupid ball control offense Michigan loves is outdated. We should be as good as USC, Florida and better than ohio state. I can't wait until ohio state beats the crap out of Michigan this year, maybe just maybe they will get rid of Lloyd after that. Heck I'll take an 0-12 season if it leads to Lloyd getting the boot.

DKOTR

For a few nights it sounded like there was someone walking up on the roof. Must be my imagination? This morning I was started when I opened my living room blinds and saw some one hanging over the roof looking down toward my window. I was like WTF. I stared at the kid like what are you doing and you need to stop being a jerk staring into my window. His eyes were open but he didn't blink. I went outside to confront the kid and when I got closer he didn't look so good. He had been shot and died up on the roof. Well I don't know if he was shot while he was on the roof but he died up there for sure. I never heard a gun shot. Although I am not home from 1:30 in the morning to 8 in the morning, it could have happened then.

You don't see that very often. Then I started thinking that any ones life can end quickly and at any age. We would never get to say good bye to anyone or tell them how important they were to us. It's sad. Then the people left behind miss you, that's sad too. Why was that boy on the roof and why and who shot him? No matter what questions are answered that boy will never come back to life he is gone a part of history never to make new memories or share his life with others.

This was a dream I had the other day. I have some strange dreams and they always seems to me anyway, that there is an underlying meaning to them. Sometimes I figure it out and other times I can't and people just tell me I have weird dreams.
